About A1 Autocare
A1 Autocare grew out of A1 Auto and Commercial, the trusted Odendaalsrus dealership founded by John Lonergan Sr in 2010. In 2017 John Lonergan Jr expanded the workshop into a full service centre for the wider community. Today we service and repair all makes of vehicles for local families, businesses, fleet operators and government departments across the Free State, and we still treat every customer like family.

Where are you based?
We are at 109 Church Street, Ou Dorp, Odendaalsrus, behind the BP garage. We look after customers from Odendaalsrus, Welkom, Allanridge, Hennenman, Ventersburg, Virginia and the surrounding Free State.
What are your trading hours?
We are open Monday to Friday from 07h00 to 17h00. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. For after-hours emergencies you can call John on 072 502 4978.

Do you offer collection and delivery?
Yes. Where we can, we will fetch your vehicle and return it to you once the work is done, so you are not left without transport.

Yes. We handle diesel servicing and repairs alongside petrol, for cars, bakkies and commercial vehicles.
Do you look after business and fleet vehicles?
Yes. We service local families, businesses, fleet operators and government departments across the region, and we treat every customer like family.

Do you do roadworthy and pre-purchase inspections?
Yes. We offer roadworthy inspections and pre-purchase vehicle inspections, plus post-repair checks and vehicle health reports.
